Elemica is led by a seasoned team of executives with extensive experience in global supply chain initiatives. Elemica's executive team represents a strong strategic vision with a customer-centric focus.
Michael McGuigan - Chief Executive Officer
Mike McGuigan was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Elemica in June 2005. He has been a member of the Elemica Board of Directors since September 2002 and was Chairman of the Board from January 2004 through June 2005.
Prior to joining Elemica, Mr. McGuigan served as Vice President of Digital & Communications Technology for BP where he managed BP Chemicals' information technology function. Between 1999 and 2004, Mr. McGuigan was the Global Commercial Director for BP Chemicals. During this time, he managed the company's commercial function across the Americas, Asia and Europe, leading a restructuring and reorganization of these activities, and the implementation of SAP on a global basis. From 1998 to 1999, Mr. McGuigan ran a polymers business unit of BP Chemicals in Germany. Mr. McGuigan began his career and held a number of senior positions with BP, initially in operations within the Chemicals division, followed by management assignments within the Retail Oil and Credit Card businesses. He has lived and worked in the UK, the USA, Germany and Switzerland.
Mr. McGuigan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Bristol (England) in 1981.
Scott Miltenberger - Chief Financial Officer
Scott Miltenberger joined Elemica in 2001 and served as the Controller. He was appointed Vice President of Finance and Administration for Elemica in 2004. Mr. Miltenberger was named Chief Financial Officer for Elemica in 2005 and is responsible for the financial planning and management of Elemica's global operations.
Mr. Miltenberger began his career as a member of the audit group at Deloitte and Touche LLP. In 1997, he joined NovaCare Employee Services, where he held various positions in the Finance Department, including Manager of SEC Filings and Published Reports and Manager of Consolidation Analysis. Later he served as Director of Finance for Global Operations. In 1999, Mr. Miltenberger accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer with MedSprout, Inc., a venture backed software company, in New York City.
Mr. Miltenberger is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance from Villanova University. Mr. Miltenberger received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business from Lafayette College.
Rich Katz - Chief Technology Officer
Rich Katz was with RubberNetwork for 7 years prior to joining Elemica in August 2009 when it merged with RubberNetwork LLC. Rich is responsible for overseeing the System Development, Implementation and Operational aspects of the Supply Chain Service. He has over 16 years experience, including an extensive background in Enterprise Resource Planning, Custom System Development and Business-to-Business eCommerce. Prior to RubberNetwork, Mr. Katz was the Director of Implementation Services for USI’s Ariba Practice (Formerly CoreHarbor) and has held Senior Manager positions in Arthur Andersen's Advanced Technology and ERP practices.
Mr. Katz earned a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bradley Delizia - Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Development
Brad Delizia is responsible for managing all of the legal affairs of Elemica and its subsidiaries and all corporate development activities, including partners and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Delizia began his career with Elemica in 2001 as Associate Counsel. He was appointed as General Counsel in December of 2002 and Executive Vice President and General Counsel in 2004.
Prior to joining Elemica, Mr. Delizia was an Associate at Pepper Hamilton LLP in their Corporate and Securities Department. At Pepper, he was involved in public and private funding, raising over three-quarters of a billion dollars; mergers and acquisitions totaling in excess of $650 million and representing private and public companies in corporate and general matters. Prior to Pepper, Mr. Delizia was a Sales Engineer with the Trane Company where he designed and sold mechanical HVAC systems for commercial development projects.
Mr. Delizia received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 1999 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University in 1992.
Nicola Hughes - Senior Vice President, Sales, Implementation and Operations
Nicola Hughes is responsible for the global sales, implementation and operations processes. Nicola joined Elemica in 2001 as Commercial Sales Director in Europe and was named Senior Vice President, Europe in January 2007.
Nicola developed a passion for supply chain efficiency and excellence during a career in ICI where she delivered improved business performance across sales, supply chain and customer service in commercially demanding and culturally diverse environments.
Nicola holds an MBA from Durham University (UK) where she completed a thesis on External Supply Chain Integration.
Brian Selby - Senior Vice President, Asia
Brian Selby joined Elemica in August 2009 when it merged with RubberNetwork LLC. He had been with RubberNetwork LLC since 2002 responsible for its Asia operations. At Elemica, he is responsible for leading a multi-country team of sourcing and supply chain professionals to craft and implement tailored Sourcing and Supply Chain solutions for Elemica's customers throughout Asia. Mr. Selby has more than 18 years of experience in the chemical, plastics and tire industry, where his career has focused on managing business development, purchasing, logistics and e-commerce primarily in Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining RubberNetwork, he was the Vice President - Asia for ChemConnect, the leading chemical and plastics global e-marketplace. He started his business career at General Electric where he held a number of senior leadership positions in various GE divisions including Director - Asia Sourcing for GE Plastics and Commercial Director, GE Specialty Chemicals Pacific. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Selby was a practicing lawyer in the USA focused on international commercial matters.
Mr. Selby holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Chicago, and a JD degree from IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Sergio Juarez - Senior Vice President, Europe and Latin America
Sergio Juarez joined Elemica in August 2009 when it merged with RubberNetwork LLC. He had been with RubberNetwork Europe since 2002 as a Sr. Sourcing Manager. He held different roles including global account responsibilities for Pirelli and also for Michelin and Continental. Today Mr. Juarez is the VP for Europe and Latin America and is responsible for European sourcing and supply chain operations. He is also responsible for all activities with the members in Latin America and the business relationship with Latin America’s RubberNetwork partner WEBB. Mr. Juarez has over 10 years of experience in consulting and e-sourcing; working as a director of sourcing for Converge Europe, a leading consortium for the electronics and computer industry; he has also held a director of Fulfillment position at Kennametal Europe (Tier 1 supplier for the automotive OEMs). Sergio started his career at NCR Europe the world leader in Finance and Retail hardware and software products and services, he held several senior positions in the World Wide service organization.
Mr. Juarez holds a Bachelors Degree in International Business Administration from Universidad de las Americas in Mexico and a Masters in Business Administration from the Bradford NIMBAS school of management in the Netherlands and UK.
