Procurement & Replenishment Case Studies Given by Elemica Customers from Dow, DuPont, Arkema, and others
Elemica, the industry-leading supply chain network, announces hosting a conference titled, “eCommerce – Better Business in a Recession,” on Wednesday, May 13th at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) in Philadelphia, PA. Attendees will learn strategies on using electronic commerce solutions tightly integrated with supply chain operations to grow profits, streamline operations, and lower the costs of doing business with all trading partners. Elemica clients Rhodia, Arkema, Dow, and others will present case study reviews of how they use and benefit from Elemica’s Customer Replenishment and Procurement solutions.
“In the face of today’s unprecedented credit crunch and volatile economy, companies are looking within their supply chain operations to lower costs and unlock working capital,” said Rick Bushnell, Vice President, Sales Americas of Elemica. “We help our clients cut structural costs from their supply chain and position for growth, and one way we do that is by delivering optimal VMI [vendor managed inventory] strategies across the supply chain in order to satisfy customer service requirements and profitability.”
The agenda includes a keynote address by DuPont, followed by:
- “Introduction to Procurement” - a discussion on Elemica’s advanced procurement solution that eliminates errors, speeds processing, and generates efficiencies.
- Procurement Case Studies/Panel Discussions - Dow (formerly Rohm and Haas), The Dow Chemical Company, Brenntag.
- “Remove Supply Chain Costs for Buyers and Sellers in a Recession” – BearingPoint
- “Introduction to Replenishment” – a discussion on how Elemica’s replenishment solution reduces inventory, working capital and resources while improving service.
- Replenishment Case Studies/Panel Discussions – Arkema, DuPont, BASF and Rhodia.
